Neuro Interventional Radiologist- St. John's, Newfoundland

Eastern Health has unique provincial responsibilities for tertiary level institutional services including Diagnostic Imaging.

The successful candidate will join a group of 25 Radiologists working at the Health Science Centre (HSC) using state-of-the-art technology. HSC is a teaching hospital affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University affording opportunities for research and teaching.

The Radiology Group offers a busy service in CT, MRI, US, Angio-interventional, Nuclear Medicine, Fluoroscopy and general radiology. The successful candidate will be expected to work mainly in neuroradiology and neuro-interventional radiology with additional general radiology duties. On-call coverage is required and shared equitably within the group.

To be considered candidates must hold a medical degree and have and be eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (or equivalent). Additionally, applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Skills required:

• Medical Degree with specialist training in Diagnostic Radiology
• Fellowship training in Neuroradiology and Neuro Interventional Radiology
• Applicants should have residency training completed in either of the following countries: in Canada, United States, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland OR South Africa.
• Applicants must be eligible for registration and license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador.
