Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated
Network Cable Technician
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting copper and fiber optic cabling in commercial or industrial environments.Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, and test CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic network cabling Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Label, organize, and maintain cable infrastructure in compliance with industry standards Perform network hardware installations including switches, routers, patch panels, and racks Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues Maintain a safe and clean work environment Work independently and as part of a team under project deadlines
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in low-voltage or network cabling Familiarity with tools such as punch-down tools, cable testers, and crimpers Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Freelance
Schedule:
8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Overtime Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
Expected start date: 2025-06-23
