Job Description

We are currently hiring for the Network, Server and Cloud Systems Support Technician position. This position\'s duties include (but are not limited to) assembly, servicing, repairing and installing technology (servers, wifi, routers, servers, layer 2 and 3 switches) for ISSERVICE Technology and its customers, both at our office location and at the customers\xe2\x80\x99 site, as well as internal administration (documentation). Backup setups, troubleshooting and monitoring will be part of the role. You will primarily working on Tier 2 and Tier 3 setups and support for our customers, however you may be called upon to assist other technicians with other needs and projects where deemed necessary by management. This position includes being involved in the planning, implementation and support of our clients\' computer, server and network device infrastructure. Providing effective fast and well communicated support to our clients is the main focus of all positions. This is an experienced role with the expectation that once being successfully integrated into our team, other team members will leverage your experience and knowledge to help them, and likewise you will leverage the pool of knowledge from our other technicians to assist you with your tasks. Preferred Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 College Diploma and/or University degree in Computer Systems Technology . Certificate or comparable experience in Linux administration \xc2\xb7 5+ Years Tier 3 Experience in supporting business networks. \xc2\xb7 Proven knowledge of TCP/IP and data protocols \xc2\xb7 Administrative knowledge of Microsoft o365 products and management \xc2\xb7 Administrative knowledge of VMWARE and Hyper-V Virtualization environments \xc2\xb7 Administrative knowledge of Windows Server & Active Directory setup/configuration/Troubleshooting \xc2\xb7 Administrative knowledge of Netgate/PFSense router configuration \xc2\xb7 Voice over IP (VoIP) understanding and troubleshooting ability \xc2\xb7 Experience with systems monitoring software (Zabbix or Similar) \xc2\xb7 Backup systems and monitoring experience (Nakivo/Veeam) \xc2\xb7 Security Operations (SoC) familiarity and monitoring \xc2\xb7 Submittal of time for all work performed throughout the day. All time must be accounted for. \xc2\xb7 Proven ability to prioritize and multitask \xc2\xb7 Deadline and detail-oriented \xc2\xb7 Good documentation skills \xc2\xb7 Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills \xc2\xb7 Personable, good communication \xc2\xb7 Works well in a team environment \xc2\xb7 Willing to work flexible hours when needed \xc2\xb7 Participate and engage in company and assigned team meetings. \xc2\xb7 Valid Ontario Driver\'s license and clean driving record \xc2\xb7 On-Call ability Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year Benefits:
