A Snapshot of Your Day

This role is responsible for the management of engines, modules and component production orders and

networks throughout the production facility. Ensuring the on-time delivery of parts to the production line and

ultimate allocation to customer requirements. The role has many key interfaces across several functions.

How You\'ll Make an Impact

  • Work closely with the supply chain to monitor, identify and expedite material shortages.
  • Attend and contribute to all required meetings as per the Daily Management System process (DMS)
  • Responsible for the control of materials and assemblies assigned to production orders
  • Maintain material availability status on each project that flows through the production line.
  • Coordinate the introduction, into the production order, of new parts related to technical changes (modifications, alternates, and new part numbers, etc.)
  • Maintenance of production orders by ensuring completion of all administrative activities Exception messages, material deviations, TECO, Closure, De-archiving, etc.)
  • Assist in all NER (New Engine Return) process in the R&O plant (changes due to customer
  • requirements, Mod upgrade, etc.) and any Test Bed Rejects where parts are required.
  • Ensure all material transactions in SAP are accurate and processed correctly.
  • Create and manage make-to-stock production orders for specific aspects of the business within
  • SAP, ensuring effective communication with relevant parties.
  • Control and maintain the Selective Fit and Spacer pool process.
  • Performs material reconciliation on all engines completed prior to being invoiced.
  • Assist the warehouse and logistics team with any material or SAP issues during kitting or production.
  • Perform audits when necessary.
  • ERP Key user for materials management
  • Drive continuous improvement activities to improve delivery reliability and reduce lead time while eliminating non-value-added activities.
What You Bring
  • Strong SAP/ERP background and experience
  • Strong analytical skills and data management experience
  • Have strong experience analyzing and understanding complex data sets.
  • Participated in dealing with change and process improvement activities.
  • Has attention to detail and is highly organized.
  • Understanding and experience in different roles/functions/processes (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Scheduling/Planning)
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Experience working on a manufacturing operation environment.
  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering, or equivalent field and/or 5 to 10 years of proven experience in a related field
  • APICs certification considered an asset.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
