on behalf of our client on Public Sector. we are looking for contract Network Technology Architect Duration : 1 year Work Mode: Hybrid. Description The Resources will act as a subject matter expert on a variety of network infrastructure projects initiatives. Some of these will include designing, supporting and configuring SDN networking, securing network, colo network design for KDC and supporting service delivery excellence. They will also assist with complex Cluster solutions that require enhanced integration with cloud services from a networking perspective and act as site reliability engineering from networking standpoint. Responsibilities:

• Design, improve and support the day to day operations of on-prem network infrastructure including integration and upkeep with cloud vendors .
• Support migration to new hardware and software stack from L2 and L3 networking perspective.
• Support LCM maturity by assisting in refresh strategy from networking perspective.
• Performance and capacity management for switches, routers, IPAM and load balancers.
• Hybrid integration of on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• Assist in process refinement, application performance improvements.
• Assist networking and operations teams including Clusters with priority 1 incidents for mission critical applications as required.
• Guide integration team to enable networking and pipeline service 10.

Skills Experience and Skill Set Requirements Evaluation Breakdown 1. Technology Experience There is a mandatory requirement for one (1) resource to have Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) clearance.

• Facilitate infrastructure design via solutioning process including security gating.
• Broad knowledge of the deployment and management (e.g. storage, cluster computing, network, database, virtualized systems).
• Strong conceptual and practical understanding of Networking (ACI) and VMware(NSX).
• Building new infrastructure with automation as per design criteria.
• Provide intake and incident resolution.
• Integration of services such as identity, logging and monitoring.
• Provide reports as required.
• Provide skills and knowledge transfer.
• Provide solution status on various project being worked on.
• Demonstration of leading projects and initiatives end to end (technical and nontechnical)

2. Technical Expertise Proven hands on experience with on-prem cloud environments such as VMware networking , automation, patching and CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure as code.

• Extensive experience on networking design and implementation using SDN, Tenants and Micro Segmentation using VMware and Cisco ACI.
• Extensive knowledge on firewalls, L2/L3 and routing.

3. Communications and Customer Service \xe2\x80\x93 Demonstrated experience of working with customers/key stakeholders and using communication skills to resolve operational issues, negotiate or document process related intelligence. 4. Analysis and Problem Solving

• Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting and resolving at complex levels for large enterprises.
• Demonstrate use of wireshark and/or other network troubleshooting tools at expert level.

5. Service Delivery - Demonstrate the ability to code and/or script, use APIs and demonstrate SRE expertise to create automation and self-service portals in order to enhance service delivery and monitoring of legacy and on-prem systems. Must haves: CPIC experience Strong conceptual and practical understanding of Networking (ACI) and VMware(NSX).
