Who you are
You hold a university degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Healthcare Management, Nursing Education, Information Systems or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. You have worked in training, learning and development for a minimum of 5 years in addition to 5 years' related experience at a Manager level. You have experience in formulating strategy, driving change, and delivering results across cross-functional teams.
The successful candidate will possess the following behavioral competencies: is a change champion, seeks and explores innovative ideas, conducts work from a customer focused viewpoint, commits to performance excellence, inspires and motivates others.
Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level.
What you will do
• Develop and execute strategic plans and operational plans related to orientation programs, mandatory education, continuing education, language training programs, and organization performance development program.
• Develop responsive, customized learning and development solutions for different profession groups, programs and/or portfolios by collaborating closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and vendors to ensure alignment.
• Identify, measure, and analyze KPIs and metrics to monitor performance of Learning and Development programs.
• Recommend strategies to ensure continuous improvement in talent and organizational development across the organization and align organizational development programs with business strategies.
• Research new and innovative ways to deliver L&D programming and oversee the implementation and application of learning
• Lead, develop and direct a geographically dispersed team of department coordinators, clinical staff educators and developers to foster, maintain and improve customer service and organizational effectiveness.
• Manage the allocated Learning and Development budget, ensuring adherence to the Regional Health Authority Accountability Framework.
