Job Description

Your duties would be to help the NDT Technician in Propane and Ammonia vessels, as well as in Mines, Mills and other Industrial settings, setting up the inspection equipment and cleaning equipment before the inspections.

Job Training & Certifications

If you have any of the following training... Confined space, Fall Arrest, First Aid, H2S Alive, SCOT, or General Mine Safety Awareness that would be preferred.

Required Work Experience

No previous work experience in this field required, but having the ability to work in an industrial environment, having strong work ethic and professionalism, and complying with all Interprovincial NDT policies and procedures.

Working Conditions

Must be able to work regularly in confined spaces, indoors and outdoors, at heights, crawling under equipment, climbing ladders, heat and humidity ranging from (25 to 30 degrees) exposure to dust and fumes, requirement to wear PPE, high noise levels, physically be able to carry equipment up to 50lbs, have a flexible schedule for travel and spur of the moment jobs, including working OT and weekends.
