Note:
Remote Work Location: FTB will consider remote work (outside of NB but within Canada). The contractor may be required to meet with FTB officials at the FTB Office in Fredericton at various times as needed during the engagement. If the successful contractor is proposing to complete the work remotely, FTB will require a minimum of 2 or 3 site visits (to Fredericton) per 6-month period during the engagement at the vendor\xe2\x80\x99s expense as follows.

Contract Duration: Asap until 10-Jan-2025 end date (Possibility for extension and conversion to FT)
Standard Hours per day: 7.25 hours work day
Deliverables
The successful candidate must deliver the following in order to successfully complete the engagement:

  • Develop and deliver a personal information inventory for FTB.
  • Create a step-by-step operational guide on how to create and maintain the personal information inventory as part of a privacy management program, which could be shared with other departments/public bodies.
  • Create a privacy risk register for FTB. Similarly, create a step-by-step operational guide on how to create and maintain a privacy risk register, which could be shared with other departments/public bodies.
  • Create a privacy impact assessment training module based on FTB\xe2\x80\x99s PIA guide and template
The Senior Privacy Analyst will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and complete the Privacy and Security training, as required by GNB, prior to commencing the assignment.
Requirement Detail/Qualifications
General Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge of privacy and security concepts, trends, and issues. This will include an understanding of their impact on business processes, as well as skill with interpretation and communication of principles and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of, and experience in researching and applying relevant information privacy laws, regulations, jurisprudence and risk countermeasures.
  • Experience in conducting Privacy Impact Assessments in public sector context.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with privacy enhancing best practices.
