Job Title: Natural Language Processing (NLP) Software Project Manager
Location: Montreal, QC (Option for Remote Work)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled project manager with experience in Python software development and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to manage the development and implementation of our NLP software solution. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience with NLP and Python software development, and the ability to work collaboratively with data labellers and business requirement staff.
Responsibilities
- Define project objectives, targets, and priorities in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Plan, execute, and monitor project activities, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
- Manage project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
- Work collaboratively with data labellers and business requirement staff to define project requirements and ensure that they are met.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and project metrics.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members to ensure project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure that project deliverables are high quality and meet software development best practices.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines.
- Ensure that project documentation is complete and accurate.
- Work on report for Canadian Scientific Research and Development Tax Credits
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a software development environment.
- Strong knowledge of Python software development and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Experience with project management tools such as Trello.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome obstacles.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands effectively.
