POSITION OVERVIEW
The National Selling - Key Account Manager will be ready to step into a growth-focused, strategic role managing a concentrated portfolio of large, high-value accounts. This position involves working closely with Account Executives to develop long-term strategies, expand client engagement across verticals and solutions, and deliver tailored business reviews and proposals. The ideal candidate will possess a polished, consultative approach to sales, lead executive-level conversations, and discover deeper insights into customer industries and operations. This role partners with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and continued value for our most important clients.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Account Management & Growth
Identify, develop, and acquire new business opportunities within assigned key accounts to drive revenue growth and market share.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at the executive level.
Conduct detailed account planning and develop comprehensive strategies for account growth and retention.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with clients to assess performance, identify new opportunities, and gain additional share of wallet.
Client Relationship & Satisfaction
Utilize a consultative and solutions-based approach to understand and exceed client needs and expectations.
Continuously seek ways to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and overall client experience.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client engagement and satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including technical support, solution development, and territory managers, to ensure successful delivery of products and services.
Partner with Account Executives and other sales team members to develop and execute coordinated account strategies.
Work with product management and marketing teams to communicate client needs and market opportunities.
Market Analysis & Reporting
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new growth opportunities.
Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information in the company's CRM system.
