The Role



David Roberts Food Corporation is looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for the food service industry to fill our role of National Sales Account Manager. The National Key Account Manager will lead efforts to drive sales and profitability across assigned categories, fueling David Roberts Food Corporations growth. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our national accounts, contributing to strategic planning that drives our company's growth and success. You will also take part in developing promotional initiatives, tracking sales targets and managing forecasts. You will join forces with cross-functional teams to transform goals into achievements, with ample guidance and support to reach and exceed your targets.

What You'll Do



Drive growth by developing and executing strategic plans that expand sales and increase market share for national accounts. Cultivate and enhance national accounts relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Champion negotiations and secure major national account wins, hitting sales targets while creating standout value for our customers and our business. Work seamlessly with sales, marketing, and operations to build and roll out innovative strategies that accelerate growth. Manage internal and external relationships while meeting all agreed customer-contact expectations. Work closely with brokers to deliver unified communication to drive initiatives. Create and execute promotional initiatives and pricing strategies that drive sales and profitability. Oversee national account budgets from forecasting to planning and spend management, keeping all financial decisions aligned with company targets. Evaluate and report on performance metrics, sharing insights and updates with senior management. Design and deliver presentations and proposals aligned with meeting objectives and submission deadlines. Develop key insights on competitors, market trends, pricing, and new products, staying informed on customer and industry activity to identify opportunities aligned with company goals. Responsible for the strategic account plan, ensuring it reflects internal goals and responds effectively to external competitive conditions and opportunities. Lead the full scope of customer relationship management, encompassing trade programs, growth objectives, product sampling, trade shows, and listing support.

How You'll Make an Impact



Seeking a proven sales leader with national account management experience. You bring a minimum of five (5) years of direct selling sales experience, demonstrating growth in both sales results and leadership responsibility within the foodservice distribution or consumer products industry. Post-Secondary Education or equivalent in Sales, Marketing, Business, Management or related subjects. Energetic, self-driven professional committed to exceeding customer expectations, with a demonstrated history of achieving significant sales growth and profitability. Proven ability to build strong relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders, with exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Financially savvy, capable of managing budgets and accurately forecasting revenues to support business growth. Proactive and results-oriented, always exploring creative ways for finding innovative solutions that drive outstanding results. Should possess strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically, interpret data, and make informed, data-driven decisions. Skilled negotiator and influencer with strong presentation and public speaking abilities, and a history of driving successful outcomes through persuasive communication. Comprehensive understanding of order management, logistics, retail sales coverage, and delivering successful customer sales outcomes. Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite for efficient and effective business operations.
