As one of Canada\'s Best Managed Companies, the Fresh Direct Produce Group has a National Recruiter opportunity for an enthusiastic and tenacious individual. Reporting to the HR & Development Manager, the job holder will collaborate with our company liaisons, working together to find those gems for our growing teams, ensuring that their skills and experience, values and mindset, align. The contract is 6 months with a possibility of extension.

We are looking for that dynamic hunter wanting to hone their talent acquisition skills. This role requires exceptional resourcefulness, engaging interpersonal skills, being results-driven, and someone self-motivated and accountable. You will manage and coordinate the full cycle recruitment activities up to onboarding.

Main responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing recruitment strategies with our team liaisons to generate quality candidates
• Partnering with hiring managers and/or company liaisons in writing and reviewing job descriptions
• Posting and monitoring our positions on various platforms
• Hunting and mining for hidden candidates
• Screening and managing candidates throughout hiring process, from reviewing resumes to making verbal job offers
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date recruiting data and providing value-added reports
• Ensuring compliance with various legislations, e.g., Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Act, etc.

Your qualifications include:

• HR education/experience with a min 4 years full cycle recruitment experience
• Proven ability to build and maintain talent pools and pipelines
• Awareness of the current labour market and demonstrated skills in developing recruitment strategies
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of work
• Proficiency with MS Office and comfortable with spreadsheets/data analysis and ATS
• Ability to take initiative, be responsive, and professional

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary and 3- and 6-month incentive bonuses paid on target performance.
