We are currently looking for a qualified National Business Manager, Neurology. This is a permanent full-time job, reporting to the Vice president, Neurology Business Unit and New products. Your Position

The National Business Manager, Neurology, is accountable for implementing the national sales and marketing strategies as well as the motivation and performance of the national sales team. The National Business Manager has the following key areas of responsibility: achievement of sales objectives, business Planning, team development and coaching, as well as managing administrative responsibilities related to the sales force. The National Business Manager reports to the Vice President, Neurology Business Unit and New Products.

Business planning and achievement of sales objectives (70%)

  • Develop national and regional business plans that support brand strategy and aim at driving growth and achieving performance within all regions
  • Strategically allocate and manage territory budgets to optimize results and performance.
  • Collaborate actively with the core brand team to help gather regional insights and support development of a brand plan that captures regional growth opportunities.
  • Ensure that sales objectives are achieved in all territories for Neurology products as per the national plan of action and in line with the corporate goals
  • Collaborate effectively with members of the core team to support regional business needs through customer focused initiatives
  • Ensure adequate execution of marketing strategy and implementation of business plans in regions and territories.
  • Ensure effective implementation of field call activities as per the established targeting and frequency plan.
  • Ensure effective implementation of learning activities in the field.
Management and development of Sales Representatives (30%)
  • Ensure ongoing coaching of Sales Representative to achieve results
  • Perform ongoing assessment, feedback, support with the field force to drive individual and team performance
  • Develop with employees and track adequately and on a timely basis performance and efficient individual development plans (IDP) in PeoplePoint
  • Foster a culture of accountability, initiative and ethics and compliance; maintain and promote a positive productive attitude, a culture of Integrity, Collaboration, Courage, Caring and Excellence
  • Coach, recognize and reward effort, positive attitude and behaviors associated with high performance individuals and teams that lead to achieving sales results
  • Coach open and honest communication along with collaboration between Lundbeck sales team and other cross functional team members.
  • Support ongoing input and exchange of information between Neurology and Psychiatry sales teams.
Administration and corporate compliance (5%)
  • Ensure sales team\'s effective use of ETMS (Electronic Territory Management System), compliance to administrative processes and budget management.
  • Timely response to all Lundbeck Canada internal departmental requests.
Positions Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration or equivalent. Master\'s degree in Business Administration (an asset)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industrial, preferably in the Neurology field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in staff management
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Track record of performance
  • Proven record of leading with Integrity and ethics
  • Bilingualism (French & English), oral and written
  • Proficiency in Windows 10 and Microsoft Office
