National Account Manager

The National Account Manager will ideally live in the
Greater Toronto
area andwill be responsible for managing a number of National accounts including Loblaws Discount and Market Divisions. This will be a combined head office and remote role.
Reporting to the
Director of Sales
, the National Account Manager will be responsible for delivering growth, profit, market share, monthly forecasting with assigned accounts via a strong fact-based analytical sales approach.
Develop strategic plans with all customers and deliver quick resolution to issues, while identifying and capturing new opportunities.
Develop processes and strategies to optimize resources, build customer value and deliver results with National and Regional customers.
Use systems, technologies & standard methodologies to streamline and optimize reporting and sales processes.
Use in-depth analysis to provide monthly, quarterly forecasts with accuracy.
Collaborate with internal teams to maximize efficiencies.
Assist with planogram, pricing, promotional and category management activities as required.
Support the development of e-commerce programs within National and Regional Accounts.
Develop and refine strategic selling skills, building towards future responsibility growth within large National Accounts.
EDUCATION:
Post-Secondary Education, with preference to a business degree
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3-5 years of Regional or National Account Management experience for consumer-packaged goods with either head office sales or category management /purchasing experience.
Proven success developing, presenting, and implementing business plans.
Proven success directly managing and selling to national retailers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Valid driver's license.
Flexible schedule to accommodate travel and customer requirements.

Must be highly self-motivated, energetic, passionate, and capable of team/independent work.
Strong analytical & forecasting ability.
Outstanding communication skills (verbal/written).
Proven track record in meeting plan objectives & goals.
Must be capable of planning, coordinating, and prioritizing multiple projects.

Proven excellence in execution.
Understand upstream and downstream implications of decisions.
Effective listening.
