National Account Manager: Independent Sales

Retail Sales:

o Conduct store visits to retailers Independent, Ethnic stores & Distributors to check the following:

Shelves are properly stocked and merchandised.

Check for price tags and promo prices during sale periods.

Develop relationships with grocery managers to determine off-shelf display opportunities (e.g. frozen bunker)

Observe category for new products, trends, deals, and other competitive intelligence.

Maintain daily log of store visits, to be discussed weekly with sales team.

o Work with the Independent/ Ethnic distributor to build Indian sauce sales by conducting store visits and looking for opportunities that the distributors can fulfill to spread the footprint of KFI Sauces.

Communicate with KFI Independent distributors to help fill gaps on the shelves.

Building strong relationships with grocery store managers and distributors.

Overall responsibility of the independent sales channels nationally in Canada



Building the Independent sales channel in USA and appoint distributors in places where there are gaps

The role will have periodic travel to USA to build and develop new independent distributor relationships.

Project management: Sourcing International Products and to execute their sale as part of line extensions of the KFI product portfolio.



Marketing - Co-manage KFI Tradeshow events:

o Assist Marketing in managing the booth (i.e. setup, takedown), meeting potential new customers, and sales lead follow up. (Tradeshow events for 2026 include: CFRA Food Service, National Women's Show, Summer Fancy Food Show US).

Marketing - Brand Ambassador for product demonstration events and promotions:

o Work closely with VP of Sales and Marketing to ensure product demonstrations are executed effectively. Includes visiting these events, providing any additional training on-site, taking pictures, and providing feedback. In most instances these events will be executed by a 3rd party team.

o Conduct store visits during promotional periods to ensure they are being executed - provide pictures and feedback

Requirements / Qualifications:



Daily access to a reliable vehicle for travel within the GTA (Ottawa to St. Catherines).

At least 4 years' experience in a sales role + University degree or College diploma.

Distribution management experience.

Self-motivated and able to manage your own time effectively.

Some marketing background would be an asset.

Owns a car and driving license.

Grocery experience is mandatory.



Ability to travel immediately to USA for business work

Compensation:



Annual Salary: $ 60,000 per annum + Best in Class Commission &
