Job Description
Sunhouse Babysitting Agency is hiring for a fabulous family needing support in their busy household in Richmond. This position begins January 2026. Candidates must have their own car and feel fully comfortable driving with children.
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and caring House Manager / Nanny to support a family with four independent children (ages 10, 8, and 5-year-old twins). The schedule is Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm (25 hours per week).
Position details:
$35 per hour 25 hours per week Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Start date: January 2026 Older, independent children who thrive with consistent routines
Responsibilities include:
Providing consistent after-school care and supervision Driving children to and from school, sports, and activities Managing smooth transitions between two nearby homes (children are with Mom Monday-Wednesday and Dad Thursday-Friday and alternating weekends) Preparing simple family dinners and snacks Assisting with tidying, laundry, and light housekeeping Supporting general household organization and small ongoing projects Communicating with both parents to help schedules and routines run smoothly Offering flexibility for occasional schedule changes or travel support
The ideal candidate is:
Warm, dependable, and proactive Experienced working with school-aged children Strong in communication and comfortable coordinating with both parents Organized, calm, and efficient with daily routines Confident driving with a reliable vehicle and clean driving record Able to work comfortably between two homes located close to one another Looking for a long-term, consistent weekday position
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
