Job Description

We are looking to fill a group theory position with a highly skilled and passionate teacher! Ideal candidates should possess:

Undergraduate degree majoring in music theory OR equivalent Experience teaching RCM level 5-8 theory courses Completion of RCM Level 9 to ARCT theory courses 1+ years experience teaching group lessons Warm and friendly demeanour
Responsibilities

Teach level 5-7 and 5-8 accelerated RCM courses as well as private theory courses Plan, prepare and deliver teaching duties Prepare students for the respective RCM examinations Assign, mark and return homework to students Assess students' progress and follow-up with parents as needed Ability to conduct classes in-person or through an online lesson format

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
