Job Description
Have a passion for arts and culture? Join our team at the Muse! Students will be responsible for front desk reception, including admissions, scheduling of tours, and gift shop sales at either the Lake of the Woods Museum or the Art Centre. Students will also have the opportunity to work on special projects such as assisting with collections management, research, programming, and exhibit set up. Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in school full time
- Interest or education in fine arts, education, history or related field
- Cash handling experience would be an asset
- Knowledge of Mac and Apple based applications
- Good communication skills with ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Must be willing to register with Youth Canada Works program
- Monday to Friday
- Kenora, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
