Municipal Worker 2 - Seasonal
(6 Positions Available) Term of Employment: Full-Time, Seasonal (April 29, 2024 \xe2\x80\x93 October 25, 2024)
Rate of Pay: Band 3: $26.87 - $29.52 per hour
(Subject to CUPE 1015 Agreement)
Location: Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre
Duties: The Municipal Worker 2 performs a variety of parks and open-space maintenance, including all activities associated with turf, tree, flower and shrub bed maintenance, throughout the City of Lloydminster in a safe and efficient manner. Duties may also include the care of sports fields, playgrounds, and other city amenities. The Municipal Worker 2 will participate in the City of Lloydminster\xe2\x80\x99s Safety Management System. Other relevant duties may be assigned as required.
Schedule: Normal working hours are Monday to Friday and shifts will vary between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with the occasional requirement to work outside these hours. Weekend work is required, and shifts will vary between the hours of 5:00 a.m. \xe2\x80\x93 10:00 a.m.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Vehicle Operator\xe2\x80\x99s License (registered in Alberta or Saskatchewan) with a clear driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract.
• Must be in good physical condition.
• Previous experience operating riding lawnmowers, push lawnmowers, string trimmers, bobcats and tractors will be considered an asset.
• The ability to lift up to 25 kg (50 lbs).
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Contingent on receiving a satisfactory criminal record check prior to start date.
