Municipal Worker 2 \xe2\x80\x93 Parks - Seasonal
(7 Positions Available) Term of Employment: Full-Time, Seasonal (April 29, 2024 \xe2\x80\x93 October 25, 2024)
Rate of Pay: Band 3: $26.87 - $29.52 per hour
(Subject to CUPE 1015 Agreement)
Location: Parks & Green Spaces Team
Duties: The Municipal Worker 2 performs a variety of parks and open-space maintenance, including all activities associated with turf, tree, flower and shrub bed maintenance, throughout the City of Lloydminster in a safe and efficient manner. Duties may also include the care of sports fields, playgrounds, and other city amenities. The Municipal Worker 2 will participate in the City of Lloydminster\xe2\x80\x99s Safety Management System. Other relevant duties may be assigned as required.
Schedule: Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with the occasional requirement to work outside these hours.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Vehicle Operator\xe2\x80\x99s License (registered in Alberta or Saskatchewan) with a clear driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract.
• Must be in good physical condition.
• Previous experience operating riding lawnmowers, push lawnmowers, string trimmers, bobcats and tractors will be considered an asset.
• The ability to lift up to 25 kg (50 lbs).
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• This position is contingent on receiving a satisfactory criminal record check.
