Job Description

RJ Kent is an Independent Living Senior Residence in downtown Port Coquitlam. Our 54-unit building is staffed 24 hours a day. We seek a reliable, hard-working, and conscientious person to join our team as a Part-Time Casual MSW (Multi-Service-Worker). You are required to perform basic janitorial/housekeeping duties (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, operating a commercial washing machine, folding linens), server duties (serving meals, bussing tables, operating a commercial dishwasher), and other tasks as required. We are on a major bus route. RJ Kent is operated by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 133.

The MSW is asked to maintain a flexible schedule of availability that includes days, nights, holidays, and weekends. This part-time position is for Sundays 9:30-6 pm, and is on-call for other shifts. This position requires a valid Canadian working permit and an RCMP Criminal Record Check.
