The position is based at our Nova Scotia facility and is exclusively in-person.

What will your day-to-day look like?

Lead a team of managers and/or individual contributors responsible for the coordination of production activities. Ensure on-time delivery of all products in its portfolio and coordinate as needed with internal customers. Coordinate the planning and allocation of resources and materials for maximum use of manufacturing equipment and personnel. Align material flow with delivery plans and coordinate with internal (input material) and external (shop assist) suppliers Drive an optimal WIP (work in progress) quantity of parts aligned with delivery plans and best practices for inventory management Support the quality vision and the daily management of quality activities including improvements in SRR (scrap repair and rework) Responsible for an operational budget and will have to see to the achievement of objectives in terms of efficiency and productivity. Define the long-term vision and manage the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations. Ensure application of health, safety and environmental policies and improve risk management by improving practices

What do you need to be successful?

10+ years of relevant experience in operations/logistics/engineering/procurement management/ project management Demonstrated ability to manage multiple mandates and projects Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management Decision-making and relational skills Ability to influence and act as an agent of change
