Job Description
Renovation Carpenter, your responsibilities are as follows:
- - Complete assigned tasks and work related to the job that you are on
- - Rough and finished carpentry-framing, stairs, boards ups, trim, doors
- - Install of flooring and tile
- -Paint baseboards, drywall, and other materials
- -Complete selective demolition/tear out tasks
- -Exterior-Decks, Doors, Siding, soffit, and facia
- - Keep the work site clean and always organized
- -Embrace health and safety environment and act in accordance with internal and external health and safety practices
- -Coordinate with the office staff as required
- -Other duties as assigned
- 2+ years of carpentry/construction experience is required
- A valid driver's license and own transportation is required
- -Safely operate hand and power tools common to the carpentry trade
- -Must be capable of completing physical work including frequent heavy lifting (50lbs)
- -Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
- -Highly organized individual and great team player
- -Superior customer service skills are a must
- French not required
- 8 hour shift
- Bonus pay
- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- carpentry: 2 years (preferred)
- English (required)
