Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, communication, and efficient handling of deliveries within a warehouse and commercial driving environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers and warehouses. Load and unload items using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Ensure accurate delivery of products by verifying orders and delivery addresses. Assist with moving heavy or bulky items, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment. Maintain communication with dispatch to coordinate delivery schedules and updates. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries professionally upon delivery. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during deliveries to ensure safety for yourself and others.

Experience

Prior experience in warehouse operations, commercial driving, or delivery services is preferred. Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience with heavy lifting and moving large or bulky items safely. Good organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
