The Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) Intern will strengthen the new MSAT department with data research, support and help to build the data foundation.

This 12-month internship is located at our office.

The work schedule is 37.5 hours per week with a flexible start time between 8:00 - 9:00am for 7.5 hours per day.

Key responsibilities:

• Creating and providing data and document structure and performing collection of relevant data and documentation for the MSAT processes.
• Supporting the update and maintenance of validation and equipment databases and documentation.
• Supporting improvement of MSAT structure and processes like validation, maintenance, calibration, equipment inventory.
• A team player who collaborates with key stakeholders, ensures validation and equipment data are current, appropriately controlled, and compliant with domestic and international regulations, including but not limited to FDA\xe2\x80\x99s Quality System Regulations, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ICH and applicable European Directives

Tech Transfer:

• Ensures data and document integrity within the MSAT structure, processes, and databases (validation, maintenance, calibration, equipment inventory)

Investigations:

• Performs data and document analysis within historical Tech Transfer data as well as equipment data to setup and maintain new databases;
• Performs investigations with suppliers to further enhance data integrity of equipment

Continuous Improvements:

• Accountable for continuous improvement project tasks assigned
• Collects, summarizes, analyzes data to prepare reports and presentations, as appropriate, to report on assigned continuous improvement project tasks

Key requirements:

• Must be a current student in 3rd or 4th year in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Similar fields of Engineering may be considered along with related experience.
• Excellent technical skills with compliance minded writing skills required.
• Excellent oral communication skills required.
• Must be able to translate opportunities into workable solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment required.
• Must have a very high attention to detail.
• Must be able to demonstrates strong business awareness.
• Strong computer and MS Office skills required.
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Strong experience with Smartsheet and/or other database applications required.
• Strong programming knowledge required; Python experience, preferred.
