About the role:


The MRI Technologist is a member of the patient care team, who, in collaboration with other health care professionals provides shockingly excellent patient care through their technical expertise.

What you bring:

Diploma/Degree in Medical Radiation Technology from an accredited educational institution


o Registered with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario, CMRTO with specialization in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, MRT. (MR)


o Member of the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (OAMRS)


o 3-5 years MRI experience preferred


o Safety awareness, including MR safety


o 3 Tesla MRI experience considered an asset


o Excellent knowledge of cross sectional anatomy


o Competent in injecting contrast and inserting IVs is required


o Point of Care Creatinine iStat training an asset


o Central Venous Access training through SOLs an asset


o Demonstrated ongoing continuing education


o Demonstrates excellence in communication, both written and verbal


o Analysis / problem assessment


o Innovative and willing to learn


o Commitment to customer service and teamwork


o Demonstrates individual leadership skills


o Proven ability to attend work regularly as per the Attendance Support Policy #HA30 and Procedure #HA35.


o Demonstrated ongoing continuing education
