This is a full-time position. We will show preference for candidates that are located in the Greater Toronto Area and available to work in-office as needed.
Work hours are flexible, but meetings are typically scheduled between 9 am and 6 pm Eastern Standard Time.

In this role, we\'ll expect you to:
Develop and maintain DSP methods and software for our benchtop MRI system.
Develop undersampled K-space reconstruction techniques, such as compressed sensing and neural networks.
Develop and optimize MRI pulse sequences.
Develop 3D MRI field mapping techniques and implement automatic shimming algorithms.
Interface with scientists and engineers, ensuring MRI data and software meet department-specific needs.
You might be right for this role if you have:
Proficiency in writing efficient, clean, and documented code in MATLAB and Python.
Proven experience in designing and implementing both uniform and non-uniform K-space sampling and reconstruction techniques in a research or industry setting.
Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a non-technical audience, including high-level stakeholders.
Openness to learning from subject matter experts from other disciplines.
Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, medical physics, computer science, or related scientific field.
