Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Movement & Strength coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the body, training etc. and be committed to helping clients move well and perform better. You thrive in high-performance, community-oriented environments and bring charisma, credibility, and care to your craft.
Client engagement is via personalized training programs, small group classes, workshops and clinics. You will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to motivate individuals of all fitness levels.
Duties
Develop personalized training programs tailored to each client's fitness goals and abilities.
Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, safety protocols, and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Conduct one-on-one training sessions, providing guidance and support throughout each workout.
Lead small group training classes.
Offer nutritional advice and support to enhance clients' overall wellness.
Stay updated on the latest science supports fitness trends, techniques, and certifications to provide the best service possible.
Qualifications
A degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or equivalent BSc/MSc
Certification from a recognized personal training organization (minimum standards are CSCS, NASM, NSCS, ACE or international equivalent).
Strong knowledge of exercise science, anatomy, and nutrition.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
Previous experience in personal training/small group coaching or a related field is preferred.
Ability to educate clients effectively on various fitness topics.
A background in performance/high-level athletic background in one or more disciplines desirable.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends where agreed.
