Motion Designer

Job Description
Our Motion Designer would report to the Director of Post Production. The primary tasks would be to create videos from start to finish primarily using Adobe After Effects in collaboration with our animation and art teams. The secondary tasks would be to assist other Post Production team members if necessary, and to learn and enhance skills.What you\'ll be doing
- Creating storyboards, animatics, style frames, rough cuts, and polished video products
- Work with existing art assets from Photoshop and Illustrator
- Create/manipulate assets in Illustrator and After Effects
- Remixing music tracks and selecting sound effects for video pieces
- Working with concept teams to visualize an idea
- Conceptualizing outline provided by clients
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and techniques in Motion Design and After Effects

- Expert in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Bonus points for experience with editing in Adobe Premiere
- Bonus Points for Cinema 4D, Maya, spline or Blender
- Familiar with various codecs, encoding methods, and graphic formats
- Strong creative and technical ability
- Comfortable working in 2D and 3D spaces
- Must be able to work autonomously as well as cooperatively with other team
- Stay organized and methodical
- Must be detail oriented
- Will learn new techniques and skills on the job
- Assist other members of the post production team
*Possibilities to extend the contract for other projects afterward.
