Job Summary

The Mother's in Mind (MIM) program works in partnership with Family and Children's Services of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington (FACSFLA) to offer group and individual support to mothers who have experienced Intimate Partner Violence and trauma. The program facilitator completes intakes, assessments, group and individual counselling services to mothers within the Mothers in Mind program. The program supports mothers in learning child-centred parenting techniques while participating in group conversations on a variety of topics. The group facilitator is responsible for the overall administration of the group from initial screening to group delivery of curriculum and the completion of evaluations on the group success. Group facilitators may also be expected to participate in public education activities about the group. The ideal candidate works from a feminist, strengths-based, empowerment perspective.

College Diploma or a University Degree in the field of Social Services is a requirement for this position.

Pay: $28.41-$35.98 per hour
