What do you offer?





Integrated Measurement for Performance, Review, and Enhanced Settlement Services (IMPRESS) is a new program aimed at strengthening the evaluation capacity of settlement organizations across Canada. The Program Facilitator is responsible for organizing and coordinating training sessions for service providers across Canada on evaluation tools and resources developed by the program. This role involves engaging with service provider organizations (SPOs) and newcomers to ensure active participation in program activities such as interviews, surveys, and focus groups. The Program Facilitator will provide assistance to SPOs in implementing evaluation tools, conduct outreach efforts to recruit SPOs and newcomer clients for participation, and support the onboarding of SPOs onto the automated evaluation platform, ensuring accessibility and usability. Additionally, the Program Facilitator will assist in developing and disseminating training materials, including pre- and post-training assessments, and facilitate knowledge mobilization activities such as webinars, community discussions, and outreach events to share project insights. This role also supports the formation and coordination of Advisory and Evaluation Committees, ensuring diverse representation from stakeholders, and provides ongoing follow-ups with trained SPO staff to assess tool implementation and offer additional support.


Some of the tasks of this position include:




Organizing and coordinating training sessions for service providers across Canada. Engaging with service provider organizations and newcomers to ensure active participation in program activities. Providing assistance to service provider organizations in implementing evaluation tools. Conducting outreach efforts to recruit service provider organizations and newcomer clients for participation. Assisting in developing and disseminating training materials. Supports the formation and coordination of Advisory and Evaluation Committees. Represents the program at sector events, conferences, and community meetings.

The successful candidate will have the following:




Education




Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related field (social science, public policy, business, or equivalent)

Language




Fluent in English, oral and written French is strongly preferred Other languages are an asset

Experience, Skills and Abilities




Experience in program coordination, outreach, facilitation, and training delivery Ability to work with and build relationships with diverse clients, service providers, and community stakeholders Demonstrated leadership and high level of judgement Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and oral communication skills High level of adaptability, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Additional Requirements:




Applicants must already have a valid permit to work in Canada. A Police Record check, not more than 6 months old is required. Police Records checks are reviewed on an individual basis and the offense(s) - if any - is considered in the decision-making process in relation to the requirement of working with children, therefore not eliminating all candidates with a record from being offered a position. Annually, staff must complete the mandatory training for the protection of Children & Youth and submit the certificate of completion.
