ABOUT
The June Motel is a boutique motel brand with three locations, Prince Edward County Sauble Beach, Beaver Valley and a Netflix TV series called Motel Makeover. REPORTING TO
In this role, you'll report directly to the General Manager of The June Motel.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The motelier concierge is responsible for the daily front of house operations to ensure The June's service and brand standards are being upheld. Duties will include guiding the guest experience from check-in to departure, ensuring excellent guest service, hosting and serving in the lobby bar, and ensuring that the property is clean and looking its best.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Process guest arrivals and departures
? Executes The June's Lobby Bar food and beverage service; taking orders, preparing light snacks, and pouring and serving drinks.
? Prepare and deliver items to guest rooms upon request.
? Respond to a wide variety of guest requests both in person and virtually with the highest level of professionalism and a motelier host mindset.
? Selling, packaging, and restocking a curated selection of gift shop products
? Proactively assesses the guest needs/requests and creates personal recommendations and touches.
? Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties for consistent cleanliness of common spaces, using proper cleaning and sanitation protocols.
? Accommodates special requests, assist guests with special needs whenever possible; resolves customer complaints; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with our services, hours of operations, key troubleshooting, in-house events, directions, etc.
? Promotes inclusivity, and works harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors.
? Assures that collateral and information for restaurants, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current.
? Utilizes a variety of software programs for property and inventory management, as well as billing. Prior knowledge of Lightspeed POS and Cloudbeds an asset.
? Provides basic troubleshooting support for in-room services such as Internet, TV
Remotes, ACs, etc.
? Follow emergency and safety procedures and complete reports as necessary.

PREREQUISITES
? A flexible schedule is preferred, including weekends and holidays.
? A physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, and lifting (approx. 30 lbs) required
? Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
? A high degree of attention to detail and professionalism
? Demonstrated previous guest service experience

Standard First Aid Certification is an asset

QUALIFICATIONS
? A secondary school diploma is preferred
? Post-secondary training in tourism is advantageous
? Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required
? Smart Serve is required (Age 18 plus is a requirement)
? Comfortable using multiple computer programs, previous POS/PMS experience is an asset
? General computer proficiency; including Google Workspace as an asset
? Knowledge of the local area and/or an interest in food and beverage is an asset.

DETAILS & COMPENSATION
? Start date: May 2025
? Rate: $18-22 per hour based on experience (plus tips)
? Hours: This is a seasonal position with end of employment in late October. Approximately 20-34 hours per week. Additional hours may be available for candidates who are open to cross-training in housekeeping.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
