Mortgage Underwriting/ Fulfillment Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized

Underwriter / Fulfillment Administrator

to join our team. In this dual-role position, you will support underwriting processes while coordinating all administrative tasks required to move applications, files, or orders from initial review through final completion. The ideal candidate is analytical, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Review incoming applications, documents, or files for completeness and accuracy Analyze risk factors based on established underwriting guidelines Request, collect, and verify required documentation from clients, partners, or internal teams Prepare files for final approval and ensure compliance with company policies Track application status and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders Manage fulfillment tasks such as scheduling, document preparation, data entry, and follow-up Maintain organized electronic records and ensure timely updates in internal systems Support process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Provide administrative support to underwriting and operations teams as needed

Qualifications

Prior experience in underwriting, fulfillment, operations, or administrative support (industry-specific experience a plus) Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze documents for completeness and accuracy Excellent communication and customer-service skills Proficiency with computer systems and document-management tools Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
