We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Mortgage Lending Support Specialist to support our mortgage team in providing exceptional client service and ensuring a smooth loan process from application to funding. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist mortgage brokers with client pre-qualification, document collection, and application preparation.
Review client files for completeness and accuracy before submission to lenders.
Communicate with clients, lenders, appraisers, and lawyers to coordinate mortgage transactions.
Track and follow up on the status of mortgage applications to ensure timely completion.
Maintain accurate client records and update CRM systems.
Prepare commitment documents and compliance checklists.
Manage broker calendars, appointments, and correspondence as needed.
Provide administrative support including data entry, email communication, and report preparation.
Stay up to date with lender guidelines, rates, and industry policies.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in mortgage, banking, real estate, or financial services preferred.
Strong understanding of mortgage application processes and documentation.
Excellent communication and client service skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and mortgage software platforms.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Education
High school diploma required; post-secondary education in finance, business, or a related field is an asset.
