Mortgage Fulfilment Specialist

Job Description


Our client is a leading mortgage solutions firms, dedicated to providing clients with a progressive and innovative approach to real estate financing. They are currently looking for a Mortgage Fulfilment Specialist to ensure the smooth flow of all loan fundings, both commercial and residential, for their organization.Location: Vancouver, BC
Expected Salary Range: $58,000 - $65,000 per yearResponsibilities:

  • Manage files during entire process of deal, including reviewing appraisal documentation, notices of assessments, strata minutes, financial statements, and all other funding-related conditions needed
  • Work with referring brokers via email and phone in regards to requesting solicitors, funding conditions, and any other additional information
  • Work with brokers to review all due diligence documentation
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of compliance requirements and all aspects of the mortgage portfolios
  • Review and organize documentation from brokers and solicitors
  • Prepare commitment letters and disclosure documents when needed
  • Prepare and ensure mortgage fundings are processed in accordance with the approval and conditions being met prior to the advance of funds
  • Coordinate with accounting and notify brokers upon funding and payment completion
  • Maintain high service levels and timely communication with brokers, borrowers, solicitors, and other external parties involved
  • Ensure complete accuracy when reviewing, updating, and auditing all files
  • Liaise with internal staff in a collaborative manner
  • Generate and prepare reports
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years\' experience in a similar role working with mortgages
  • Completion of sub-mortgage broker course is highly desirable; otherwise, this will be a completion requirement within the first year of employment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with various internal and external parties, including mortgage brokers, borrowers, and solicitors.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and overall aptitude with computer software and programs
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, multi-task, and work well under pressure a must
  • Outstanding team player with a can-do attitude
