Realtor & Mortgage Broker Fulfillment / Underwriter
15 to 25 hr/week to start, potential to increase hours over time for the right person & as our Team grows
Pay based on experience, paid as a subcontractor
There is some flexibility of exact timing of when hours are worked
Work from home, utilize own computer & phone.
We will supply access to computer programs required for the position Microsoft 365, Adobe & PDF Programs, Docusign. Previous experience with Velocity would be great.
The right fit for our team is someone with strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and a commitment to top client service. Working in tandem with our team of Realtors & Mortgage Brokers, this role is best for someone who is an excellent communicator, professional & puts the client first.
This role will focus on mortgage application structuring & document fulfillment. There is CRM/database maintenance, document review and communications with clients on an ongoing basis.
This position will evolve as our team continues to grow & we want some one with us for the long run!
Responsibilities include:
Collect client mortgage applications
Review client documents, organize them, ask questions
Input/structure applications in Velocity
Update Velocity as needed for client changes
Work directly with the client once an approval is in place to confirm documents needed, collect outstanding documents
Send emails, docusigns
Perform title, tax, corporate searches
Providing administrative and general support to the team
Handling various tasks throughout the transaction process with the client and ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely manner
Database/calendar maintenance & upkeep
Communicating with lawyers, clients, brokerage offices as required on transactions
Triggering emails to clients/contacts for transaction milestones
Working with the various team members to ensure everyone is informed and on the same page
Keeping informed of items that impact mortgages & real estate - providing unique solutions to the team for ways to improve
Depending on an applicant's skillset, there are more tasks that can be assigned & discussed including underwriting, deal submission etc..
Employment Requirements:
Strong familiarity with residential real estate & mortgage brokering
RECA licensed as a Mortgage Broker an asset
Knowledge of Velocity or Filogix an asset
A positive attitude & a natural problem solver
Must be comfortable with Outlook, Word, Excel, Chrome
Professional communication skills (written & verbally)
Strong attention to detail & organizational skills
Ability to work with a variety of personalities & the willingness to go above & beyond for a client
Comfortable with technology & willingness to learn new tasks/systems as the team progresses
Must be reliable
