Job Summary

We are a growing team, affiliated with one of the best mortgage brokerages in Canada. We are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Mortgage Agents (level 1 & 2) to join our dynamic team. We provide verified leads to our agents. The ideal candidates will be responsible for following up on new residential mortgage leads that come in through our lead marketing campaigns; educating and guiding borrowers through the mortgage application process, providing expert advice on mortgage products, and ensuring a smooth transaction from start to finish. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Cold calling new leads Following up on existing leads to convert into new mortgage applications Assist borrowers in understanding their mortgage options and guide them through the application process. Evaluate borrowers financial situations and recommend suitable mortgage products. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage regulations, market trends, and financial services. Prepare and present potential approvals to clients, ensuring clarity and transparency throughout the process. Collaborate with underwriting and the fulfillment team to facilitate timely closings. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the mortgage process. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting related to client portfolios.

Skills

Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in French or other languages is a plus (multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply). Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for clients. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships. Knowledge of FSRA regulations. Up-to-date on brokerage policies and procedures Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to convey complex information clearly. Solid math skills for accurate calculations related to approval amounts, interest rates, payment schedules and LTV calculations. Compensation

This position is a commission based role Potential annual compensation is $60,000 to $150,000 competitive commission split and bonuses
