We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Agent to join our dynamic team. As a Mortgage Agent, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients with their mortgage needs and helping them achieve their homeownership goals. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments of clients\' financial situations, including income, credit history, and debt obligations, to determine their eligibility for various mortgage products. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on mortgage options, rates, terms, and repayment plans, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the available choices. Collaborate with clients to complete mortgage applications accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained and submitted in a timely manner. Liaise with lenders and financial institutions to negotiate competitive rates and secure optimal mortgage terms for clients. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, market trends, and changes in mortgage products to provide informed recommendations to clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and industry professionals to generate referrals and expand business opportunities. Follow up with clients throughout the mortgage process, providing updates, addressing any concerns, and ensuring a smooth transaction from application to closing. Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics, demonstrating a strong commitment to achieving individual and team goals. Continuously develop and enhance product knowledge and sales skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Requirements: Valid Mortgage Agent license in Ontario or planning to get one soon. Previous sale expernce is recommended. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess clients\' financial situations and recommend suitable mortgage solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and negotiate effectively with lenders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on customer service and exceeding sales targets.
