Ensure that mortgage commitments are set up and maintained in the Loan Management System in accordance with established processes and guidelines
Work with Real Estate lawyers to follow up on anticipated mortgage payouts, confirming the receipt of anticipated funds; validate newly registered mortgage and proper searches conducted on mortgage advances.
Ensure mortgage/loan files are complete and accurate.
Update and maintain various reports for tracking purposes.
Prepare and issue various types of statements and documentation.
Process mortgage payments and renewals.
Follow up on payouts past due; resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
Requirements:
At minimum, 1-2 years of work experience in the mortgage administration or lending role, in the financial services.
Post-secondary education with focus on mortgages and real estate considered an asset.
Very good English communication skills, both written and oral.
Strong data entry and basic accounting skills; ability to balance cash and perform calculations.
