Our client in the retail lending and banking sector is looking for a Mortgage administrator who has an ability to work under tight deadlines and maintain composure under pressure. Must be client focused, organized with good attention to detail.
About you/Qualifications:
- At least one year in a professional or corporate environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Access/PowerPoint/Excel
- CMHC/Commercial Mortgage experience is an asset
- Legal Assistant experience is an asset
- Flexible and adaptable / able to multi-task under pressure
- Detail oriented
- Quality focus
- Proficient in tasks planning on a day to day basis
- Team oriented approach to success
- Input and verify static data in the system for AML/KYC information, loan setup, renewal, assumption, takeout, undertakings, taxes, CMHC requirements, and taxes.
- Calculate and process advances to meet closing deadlines of pools, purchases, or draws.
- Respond to email requests from clients and their counsel, accountants, brokers for bank confirmations, information statements, consolidated loan statements, payout penalties, payout statements, and discharge documents in a timely manner.
- Maintain digital filing records by using standard naming, scanning, and uploading documents to a library.
- Liaise with internal departments and forward information for loan monitoring post-closing.
- Understand new policies, processes, or legislation (OSFI, CMHC, Fintrac) regarding commercial mortgage.
