Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori ToddlerTeacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of toddler-aged children. The Montessori ToddlerTeacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering positive relationships with students, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social and emotional development. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate behavior management techniques. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the learning experience. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications



MACTE-Accredited Montessori Toddler Diploma. Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting is highly desirable. Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Up-to-date medical records (immunizations), TB test, etc. Police Vulnerable Sector Check is required upon hiring At least 1 year of experience working with children Strong communication (written and verbal) skills in English Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Experience with special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
