Please apply ONLY if you are an Accredited Montessori Teacher with a MACTE or AMI approved Montessori Diploma, or currently enrolled in a Toddler Montessori Diploma program OR have a RECE diploma with Montessori Experience. Positions are available for Pre-Casa, Casa and Toddler program.
Previous Experience and Assets:
Excellent written and oral communication.
Assess the developmental level of children.
Prepare progress reports and monthly lesson plans.
Establish and maintain Montessori classroom culture, prepare materials, and maintain all units of study.
Able to follow Ministry of Education guidelines.
Develop and implement daily activities for children.
Nurtures independence, self-esteem and success in students
Patient enthusiastic enjoys working with children age 2.3 to 6 years old.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have: AMI or MACTE accredited Montessori Training diploma or EARLY CHILDHOOD diploma
Working childcare experience at least 1 year (an asset)
Familiar with Montessori materials and practices.
Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening no more than 6 months old
Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Up to Date Immunizations
Fluency in English is a must

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
