We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Teacher to join our educational team. Miracle Montessori is a new school seeking a Toddler Montessori teachers. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the academic and personal growth of students. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to engage students in meaningful learning experiences. The Teacher will work collaboratively with other educators and staff to implement curriculum and support the diverse needs of all students.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Montessori curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
Educate students in core subjects while integrating special education strategies for those who require additional support.
Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
Lead classroom activities, discussions, and projects that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom dynamics.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Support bilingual education initiatives by incorporating both English and additional languages into lesson plans when applicable.
Qualifications
MACTE or AMI Diploma required, Attended a Montessori Accredited Training school and have received your Diploma or will graduate this year.
RECE license
Experience in childcare or teaching, particularly in special education settings, is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Proficiency in computer operation for educational purposes, including software applications relevant to teaching.
Bilingual capabilities (English plus another language, French is an asset) are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse student populations.
Excellent English written communication skills for preparing lesson plans, reports, and correspondence.
