Montessori Daycare Director
who can lead our team, support our educators, and ensure that our program maintains the highest standards of care and education.Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the daycare and ensure compliance with licensing requirements Implement and maintain Montessori-based curriculum and classroom environments Supervise, support, and evaluate staff Communicate effectively with families and build strong relationships Manage schedules, enrollment, and administrative tasks Ensure safety, cleanliness, and high-quality care standards Lead staff meetings, training, and professional development
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Montessori Director or Supervisor required
Montessori certification (AMI/AMS or equivalent) preferred Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and early childhood development Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of provincial childcare licensing regulations Ability to work positively with staff, children, and familiesJob Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.75-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
