We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children, particularly those with special needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage classroom dynamics, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.
Responsibilities
Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to individual student needs.
Support literacy and math education through hands-on activities and personalized instruction.
Manage classroom behavior and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
Collaborate with educators to develop curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students.
Provide care and supervision for children during classroom activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Facilitate communication between teachers, parents, and support staff regarding student progress and needs.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching strategies and classroom management techniques.
Work closely with students with disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum, to provide tailored support.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
Background in early childhood education or childhood development is preferred.
Familiarity with special education practices, including behavior management strategies.
Knowledge of Montessori principles or preschool experience is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to plan lessons that engage students in literacy education, math concepts, and other subjects.
Experience in daycare settings or private schools is advantageous.
