We have two manufacturing plants working for our worldwide customer base. U.S. customers are serviced by Enflo LLC in Bristol, Connecticut, and Canada/International customers are serviced by Enflo Canada Ltd., in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada.
Job Summary
The Molded Sheet Operator is a key member of Enflo LLC's operations team who reports to the Plant Manager. The Molded Sheet Operator's primary day-to-day responsibility is to train in the molded sheets department, prepare mold, operate press according to company's production schedule and cost requirements. This will include direct responsibility for mold setup, press, inspection, labelling and data entry into Epicore.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Read and understand requirements of work orders, follow instructions
Uses math skills to learn use of weight scales, hydraulic gauges, micrometers, verniers.
Prepare mold according to customer specifications
Removes sheets from mold, checks all dimensions, visually inspects sheets for cracks.
Maintains molding logs and enters data into Epicore.
Operate presses in a safe manner and wears appropriate personal protection equipment.
Trains other operators as required.
Works 40 hours w/overtime as requested.
Qualifications/Experience:
5+ years lathe operation experience.
Experience in job shop environment.
Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
PC proficiency is helpful. Working knowledge of ERP systems is preferred.
