Your Qualifications



Reliable Hard working Desire to learn

Basic electronics knowledge and mechanical aptitude is a must

Knowledge and experience using hand tools, fasteners (metric and standard). Experience with mechanical repairs or maintenance would be an asset Experience and knowledge of rehabilitative equipment preferred Some minor fabricating skills may be required on items unique to the medical equipment industry
We are looking to fill a Technician role on manual and powered home medical equipment for our Power Repair Department. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Ensure equipment is handled according to standards Ensure manufacturers' guidelines and specifications are adhered to and that equipment is safe to operate Follow the direction of more senior Technicians to speed up repair process Keep work area neat, clean and free of clutter Maintain, clean, disinfect and repair equipment when required Complete applicable paperwork such us order forms for parts, quality control checklist and completing work orders to ensure everything is completed on the equipment Follow Quality Control check procedures and provide completed checklist to Supervisor Track inventory and billable hours into Windward software Ongoing restocking of supported parts as needed

Some examples of equipment you may work on included but not limited to: wheelchair, power wheelchair, mobility scooter, patient handling lift, bath safety equipment, walker, rollator, lift chair recliner, power assist device, pediatric equipment
