Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Mobile Security & Response Officer to join our team in Downtown Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, responding to incidents, and providing a visible security presence to deter criminal activity.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular mobile patrols of assigned areas in Downtown Vancouver. Respond promptly and efficiently to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations. Provide a visible and professional security presence to deter criminal activity. Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents and report findings. Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and client representatives as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and security breaches. Perform risk assessments and recommend security improvements. Assist in the training and development of new security personnel.

Qualifications:

Valid Security License in British Columbia. Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record. Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using security equipment and technology. Physical fitness and the ability to perform patrol duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

First Aid and CPR certification. Experience in mobile security operations. Knowledge of Downtown Vancouver's geography and security landscape.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Will be required to work in various weather conditions. Must be able to handle stressful situations and respond calmly in emergencies.

Pay: $21.50-$23.00 per hour
