MOBILE SECURITY OFFICER: Full-Time and Part Time

Commissionaires BC are hiring for full-time and part time team members in our Mobile Patrol Security Unit.
Current Positions Available: Sat&Sun 2200-0600
Tues-Sat 2300-0700
Sat-Sun 1400-2200

Must have valid Class 5 BC Driver\'s License and 1 or more years experience in security.

Your Must-Haves:

  • Hold a valid BC Security License
  • Hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and have a clean driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract
  • OFA Level 1
  • Eligible for a Public Works Clearance (resident of Canada 5+ years)
  • Experience using Tracktik software
  • Fluent English; excellent written and verbal skills
  • Positive attitude with professional demeanor and strong interpersonal/customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail to fulfill job duties and incident report writing
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills

Job Responsibilities:
  • Safely operating a Mobile Patrol motor vehicle in accordance with all laws and regulation.;
  • Conducting security checks at client sites according to directives, standards and post orders.
  • Utilize company cell phones and Tracktik phone app.
  • Conducting alarm response to client sites as needed.
  • Conducting House Watch patrol if necessary.
  • Attending lone worker sites to check on workers when requested.
  • Ensuring incident and shift reports are completed including Run Sheets, Vehicle Inspection Reports, Tracktik reports and Alarm reports.
  • Reporting for shifts on time, and maintaining proper dress and deportment at all times.
  • Reporting any unsafe incidents, practices and/or issues.
  • Conducting vehicle checks at start of shifts and ensuring any issues are reported accurately.
  • Being respectful towards tools/equipment and ensuring proper key control at all times.
  • Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and washed as required.
  • Maintaining high standard of work ethic and professionalism.
  • Promoting a respectful workplace by displaying a courteous, professional attitude.
  • Keeping management aware of any unusual incidents.
