Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in designated areas. Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks. Conduct facilities maintenance duties such as minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing cleaning tasks, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues. Assist with heavy lifting when required, ensuring that all items are moved safely and efficiently. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding job progress and any issues encountered.

Requirements

Previous custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus. Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed (up to 50 pounds). Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all cleaning tasks. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour
